Roundtable Discussion on Innovation for Children
Ho Chi Minh City was recently recognized as the second most dynamic city in the world, due to its ability to absorb, adapt and leverage technology and innovation, thereby making it well positioned to compete in the ever-changing economic landscape. From 2017 – 2021, UNICEF will work in partnership with Saigon Innovation Hub under the Department of Science and Technology with the aim of ensuring that the City’s Innovation Plan 2016 – 2020 and investment in HCMC as a SMART City contributes to its social agenda, with specific focus on the impact of rapid urbanization, migration and climate change on children and young people.
In this context, SiHub and UNICEF Viet Nam would like to invite you to a Roundtable Discussion on Innovation for Children which will take place at 13.30 – 15.30 on Thursday 2nd March 2017 at SiHub, 273 Dien Bien Phu street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
The Roundtable Discussion is a unique opportunity for you and the City’s leaders in innovation and technology, education, planning and investment, health and social affairs to share local experience in relation to the city’s child rights and social agenda with specific focus on utilising technology and design thinking to address critical existing bottlenecks.
